【摘要】:Assumptions:Thecontrolwelldischargesataconstantrate,Q.Thecontrolwellisofinfinitesimaldiameterandfullypenetratestheaquifer.Theaquiferishomogeneous,isotropic,andareallyextensive.Theaquiferremainssaturated(thatis,waterleveldoesnotdeclinebelowthetopoftheaquifer).Theaquiferisoverlainorunderlain,orboth,everywherebyconfiningbedsindividuallyhavinguniformhydraulicconductivities,specificstorages,andthicknesses.TheconfiningbedsareboundedonthedistalsidesbyoneofthecasesshowninFig.1.1.1Thistestmethodcoversananalyticalprocedurefordeterminingthetransmissivityandstoragecoefficientofaconfinedaquifertakingintoconsiderationthechangeinstorageofwaterinoverlyingorunderlyingconfiningbeds,orboth.Thistestmethodisusedtoanalyzewater-levelorheaddatacollectedfromoneormoreobservationwellsorpiezometersduringthepumpingofwaterfromacontrolwellataconstantrate.Withappropriatechangesinsign,thistestmethodalsocanbeusedtoanalyzetheeffectsofinjectingwaterintoacontrolwellataconstantrate.1.2ThisanalyticalprocedureisusedinconjunctionwithTestMethodD4050.1.3Limitations8212;ThevaliduseofthemodifiedHantushmethod(1)islimitedtothedeterminationofhydraulicpropertiesforaquifersinhydrogeologicsettingswithreasonablecorrespondencetotheassumptionsoftheHantush-Jacobmethod(TestMethodD6029)withtheexceptionthatinthiscasethegainorlossofwaterinstorageintheconfiningbedsistakenintoconsideration(see5.1).Allpossiblecombinationsofimpermeablebedsandsourcebeds(forexample,bedsinwhichtheheadremainsuniform)areconsideredonthedistalsideoftheleakybedsthatconfinetheaquiferofinterest(seeFig.1).1.4ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Nootherunitsofmeasurementareincludedinthisstandard.1.5Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
