【摘要】:p>Talloil,bothcrudeandrefined,isanimportantby-productofthealkaline(kraft)pulpingofpinewood.Itconsistsprimarilyoffattyacids,resinacids,andneutralmaterials;thelevelsofthesevariouscomponentsdependonfactorssuchasthespeciesofpinetree,geographiclocation,climate,etc.Talloilisusedprimarilyasacommercialsourceoffattyacidsandrosin,and,therefore,reliablemethodsfortheanalysisofthesecomponentsisnecessary.1.1Thesetestmethodscoverthetestprocedurestobeappliedtowholetalloilsorrefinedtalloils.Previouseditionsofthesetestmethodshavedescribedtestproceduresthatareusedtotesttalloilfattyacid,rosin,andothertalloil-derivedproductsaswellastestcrudeandrefinedtalloil.Consequently,thesetestmethodsarewidelycitedinreferencebooksandindustryliteratureforthetestingoftalloil-derivedproducts.1.1.1Inthiscurrentrevision,proceduraldetailsofsomeoftheoften-citedtestmethodshavebeenremovedandthetestmethodsconsolidatedwithotherexistingtestmethods.Insuchcasestheconsolidatedmethods,applicabletoalltalloil-derivedproducts,arereferenced.1.2Theproceduresappearinthefollowingorder:PhysicalTests
