【摘要】:Thisstandardcanbeusedforlaboratoryscreeningofprotectiveclothingmaterialusedtomanufacturegarmentsandaccessorieswornbypesticideworkers.Thestandardcanbeusedforthedevelopmentandevaluationofnewprotectiveclothingmaterials.Thestandardcanbeusedfortheevaluationofprotectiveclothingmaterialsagainstnewpesticideformulations.1.1Thismethodmeasuresrepellency,retentionandpenetrationofaknownvolumeofliquidpesticidewhenappliedtoprotectiveclothingmaterial.Noexternalhydrostaticormechanicalpressureisappliedtothetestspecimenduringoraftertheapplicationoftheliquidpesticide.1.2Thismethodisdesignedtomeasureperformanceofprotectiveclothingmaterialsattwolevelsofcontamination.Lowlevelofcontaminationisachievedbyapplying0.1mLliquidformulationandhighlevelbyapplying0.2mL.1.3Thistestmethoddoesnotmeasureresistancetopermeationordegradation.1.4Thistestmethodissuitableforfieldstrengthpesticideformulations.Thismethodmaynotbesuitablefortestingprotectiveclothingmaterialsagainstvolatilepesticides.1.5ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.1.6Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
