【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoverscorrugatedsteelpipeintendedforuseforstormwaterdrainage,underdrains,theconstructionofculverts,andsimilaruses.Pipecoveredbythisspecificationisnotnormallyusedfortheconveyanceofsanitaryorindustrialwastes.Thesteelsheetusedinfabricationofthepipehasaprotectivemetalliccoatingofzinc(galvanizing),aluminum,55%aluminum-zincalloy,orzinc-5%aluminum-mischmetalalloy.1.1.1Steelsheetwithzincandaramidfibercompositecoatingmaybespecifiedforfabricationofpipe.Pipemadefromsheetwiththiscompositecoatingisalwaysfurnishedwithanasphaltcoating.Therefore,therequirementsinthisspecificationshouldbeconsideredasapplyingtoasemifinishedpipe;thefinishedpipemustincludeprovisionsofSpecificationA849.Note18212;Pipefabricatedwithzincandaramidfibercompositecoatedsheetandasphaltpostcoatingmaybeusedforsanitarysewersandindustrialapplications.Petroleumproductsorsimilarmaterialsinthesewereffluentmayaffecttheperformanceoftheasphaltcoating.
