【摘要】:Inthepastonlytheperformancerequirementsforuniformbulkcable(called"media"inearlierstandards)havebeenspecifiedinSCSIstandards.SincebulkcableprovidesonlypartoftheelectricalpathinaSCSIbussegment,theperformancerequirementsoftheinterconnectcomprisingthepathisincompleteifonlybulkcableisconsidered.Thisdocumentexpandsthecoveragetothecompleteassembledinterconnectincludingconnectors,uniformbulkcable,andnon-uniformbulkcable.Asyntaxandframeworkisdescribedforalltypesofpassiveinterconnect.Themethodologyforperformingtheelectricalmeasurementsrequiredtodeterminecompliancewiththeperformancerequirementsforbulkcableofseveraltypes,variousassembledinterconnectsandprintedcircuitboarddesignsisincluded.Detailsofthemeasurementmethodologyarespecifiedtominimizethedifferenceinmeasuredresultsfromdifferentelectricaltestinglaboratories.Detailsincludecalibration,fixturingandsamplepreparation,equipment,measurementprocedureanddataoutputformat.
