【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardspecifiesamethodforassessingtheheatpenetrationresistanceofmaterialsintendedforuseinclothingtoprotectagainstlargesplashesofmoltenmetal.Itprovidesspecificproceduresforassessingtheeffectsofsplashesofmoltenaluminium,moltencryolite,moltencopper,moltenironandmoltenmildsteel.Theprincipleofthetestmethodisapplicabletoawiderrangeofhotmoltenmaterialsthanthoseforwhichspecificproceduresaresetout,providedthatappropriatemeasuresareappliedtoprotectthetestoperator.Itisimportanttonotethatgoodresistanceofamaterialtoapuremoltenmetaldoesnotguaranteeagoodperformanceagainstanyslagthatcanbepresentinamanufacturingprocess.
